TESTIMONIALS

Andrew Crowe

On my visit to Saibaba Central School, I chose to explore the topic of micronature with the children in their own playground. The openness and enthusiasm of the staff and children was obvious from the start. Andrew Crowe, New Zealand nature writer, 2007.

Enriching, enthralling, beautiful and satisfying are just a few words that I could use to attempt to describe the joy I had teaching at Saibaba Central School. Never could I have imagined the children to be so enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Before coming I had a feeling of worry that maybe they wouldn’t understand what I wanted to do with them in art classes, HOW WRONG COULD I HAVE BEEN!

Every time I tested their ability, they went far beyond my expectations, every time I tried something new, they embraced it, completed it and excelled at it. I feel privileged to have worked with the staff and students and it is something I take with me for the rest of my life.

THIS SCHOOL IS SPECIAL.

I was very privileged to work at the school with the wonderful children and staff for a few days. We explored teaching & learning techniques, shared a few lessons, and generally basked in the extraordinary buzz and life of the school. I’d highly recommend visiting and contributing to all that goes on there; if there’s hope for our collective future, it truly shines in places like Saibaba Central School!

My involvement with the school over the last twelve years has given me one more form of connection with my beloved Sadguru and a great opportunity to experience firsthand some of Guruji's innovative ideas and principles in education. Entering the School one immediately notices some "xfactor" that makes it such a special place, alive with enthusiasm, a spirit of enquiry and the words of the School pledge always come to mind, school a lovely and happy place, so that all of us may be proud of it." It is indeed an unusually lovely and happy place that all involved may be justly proud of.
