INTER HOUSE DRAWING COMPETITION

The art of people is a true mirror to their minds. –Jawaharlal Nehru Art can play a pivotal role in developing a child's creativity, imagination, cognitive skills, problem-solving abilities, fine motor skills, and much more. But in this day and age, many children choose electronic gadgets in order to keep themselves entertained and occupied completely forgetting the benefits of arts and crafts. Advanced technology is very useful and children should be introduced to it, but it should never come at the expense of them playing and making things with their own hands.
To bring out innate talent for art in the children, the School conducted an Inter House Drawing Competition on 13 November 2019, as a celebration of Children’s Day. The students from Kindergarten to IX class participated enthusiastically in the competition. Our goal is to promote students to take up arts to develop their creativity and express their ideas and feelings. This encourages children’s creativity in linking drawing and painting, widening their artistic scope and developing healthy competitive spirit.
