Children learn most effectively when they are provided with a healthy and hygienic environment. Saibaba Central School incorporates numerous features to maintain a healthy environment and instil good hygiene habits by

• providing sufficient facilities for sanitation, such as clean lavatories, toilets, hand-washing stations and regular water supply;
• providing a certified water filter unit for clean and safe drinking water;
• including personal and environmental hygiene education in the curriculum to teach skills, attitudes and knowledge regarding effective hygiene;
• providing periodic medical check-ups and lessons on oral hygiene and dental care;
• programming personal and environmental hygiene awareness camps; and
• providing sites for waste disposal, including soak pits and garbage pits.
