Learning while playing

Saibaba Central School's pedagogy for pre-school children is structured on the principles of ‘learn while playing and play while learning’ and ‘let knowledge grow’. SBCS's purpose-designed facilities provide a congenial learning environment, the essential basis for implementing these principles.

Young children, in this comfortable and creative environment, develop in so many ways:

• They explore the world around them through playing with toys and peer interaction.
• They express themselves through arts, crafts, rhymes and music.
• They broaden their imagination through innovative approaches to creative learning.
• They develop a love of reading through story time.

A Holistic Approach

Saibaba Central School advocates a holistic, well-rounded and balanced schedule for its students, both in school and out. This means, in part, that students must have sufficient after-school time to enjoy play, recreation and relaxation. Students need not and should not be overburdened with tightly packed study schedules and intense training in the form of special classes and courses even during holidays. Parents are urged not to push their children too hard, even with the best intentions—and to remember that a time for play is an important element in SBS’s holistic approach to education.
