Fresh Blossoms in the Sai Garden 2007
Dear Reader
Fresh blossoms of myriad colours have once again bloomed in the Sai Garden emanating a wonderfully poignant medley of fragrances. The enterprising children of Sai Baba Central School have strikingly demonstrated their talents, within the showcase of the diverse events and activities held during the course of the academic year 2006-07.The bountiful blessings of Baba have showered upon us in an unceasing flow.
Our school, thriving under the aegis of Sri Sainathuni Sarath Babuji, aims at the wholesome development of the child. Academics is the foundation of the curriculum. Identifying other skills each child possesses and nurturing them with skillful care and guidance receives special emphasis at SCS. A holistic education is considered the need of the day rather, the hour. Abiding by this principle, events have been organized on the occasion of International Day of Disabled Persons, Maths Day, Telugu Day, the Science Fair and so on.These opportunities helped the children gain exposure to many new spheres. The most moving instance has been in the case of International Day of Disabled Persons: during the course of the activities, the children woke up to the realities of life and began to come to terms with them. Additionally a host of clubs such as the Writing Club, Science Club and Work Education Club have been established for the express purpose of stimulating the innate potential in every child.
Reaching the final level of the National Children's Science Congress for the third consecutive year has certainly been a highlight of the year. This will surely spur our students on to greater heights. Though not everyone gets to win a prize, it never deters our students from their eager participation in all the events organized. We thank the students and are very proud indeed of their spirit of healthy competition.
As we review the endeavours of the past year and relive all the happy moments, it's time for celebration for it has been a most satisfactory year, from the point of view of both staff and students, filled to the brim with work and play.
