Dear Reader
It gives us immense pleasure to present to you the third edition of Fresh Blossoms in the Sai Garden, the school magazine of Saibaba Central School. The smooth functioning of the school is the result of the indubitable grace and bountiful blessings that have been showered on us by our merciful Sai Baba and much revered Guruji (Sainathuni Sarath Babuji, the founder of SBCS).
It has been a privilege to be in the editorial team of this wonderful school, whose campus is always buzzing with activities. Being the editorial members of the school magazine has been a learning experience indeed. We cannot deny the fact that it has been interesting and exciting and helped inculcate a sense of responsibility in all of us.
In this edition, we introduce you to the most important event of the year, the shifting of the school into a spacious new building, situated in the open lap of nature which has been designed to suit the school motto, "love of learning and learning to love". We also enlighten you with the updated library, the technically advanced computer lab, the fully-equipped audio-visual theatre, the brilliant science labs, a new mathematics lab and the wonderful kids' park. All these facilities in the school will encourage the ability of "scientific thinking" and to inculcate "the spirit of enquiry" among the students. We also present the Independence Day celebrations, our Opening Day, Republic Day celebrations, the story of a Freedom Fighter, and various school competitions at different levels covering varied topics. These are among the highlights of the year. We also bring into light the achievements of the students in the National Children's Science Congress and sports activities. Finally, the students entertain you with their bone-tickling jokes and mind-boggling puzzles and quizzes. We have also included some more Telugu sections this year, as the school gives emphasis to the significance of our mother- tongue. We hope this magazine will help you become more acquainted with the activities of the school.
